Emma Potts
Emma Potts embarked on her journey in the entertainment industry at a tender age, where she showcased her exceptional talents as an actor and dancer. Hailing from Australia, Emma has since established her base in Los Angeles.
In 2017, Emma collaborated with Benedict Samuel, known for his role in the Fox series "Gotham," on the film "Pimped," directed by David Barker. This remarkable film earned the distinction of being named the Australian feature film of the year at Monster Fest in Melbourne. "Pimped" graced Australian cinemas in March 2019 and found its way onto Virgin Australia Airlines for in-flight entertainment.
Emma's impressive resume boasts leading roles in films like "Torment" and "A Nation Found," which was a finalist in the Tropfest film festival in 2018. She has also made her mark on ABC's 'The Checkout' and has graced music videos for prominent Australian artists such as Dami Im and Zoe Badwi. Her most recent endeavor includes her involvement in the pilot episode of Showtime's "I Love this For You." Emma's dedication to her craft has not gone unnoticed, as she received both the Tom Lauder Scholarship and the Cheer Nation Entertainment Scholarship for her outstanding contributions to the industry.
Emma's path to success began with her training at the McDonald College of Performing Arts High School, followed by further honing her skills at ED5 International, where she earned her Diploma in Performing Arts. Additionally, she pursued studies at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and now continues her training under the guidance of Judith Bouley, CSA.
Emma's most recent roles include portraying Tracy LaPierre in "We The People" and bringing to life Cheryl Thomas, one of Ted Bundy's surviving victims, in "The First Mindhunter."
