Yesterday my wife showed me a red patch on her cheek, and asked, "What is this, and what should I do?"
Well, it turned out she used one of our retinoid products, Bare Skin Care "A" Serum in the morning, and then when shopping for most of the day - walking around in the sun without a sun block. So she had a mild sunburn.
You must remember one can get a good amount of UV rays just walking around, or even driving a car. And these rays can be aggravated when using retinoids like retinol, Retin-A, or retinaldehyde.
So of course, my answer as to what to do was to use Bare Skin Care Soothe, which has hydrocortisone, aloe vera, and allantoin.
Bare Skin Care Soothe is the ideal lotion for reducing inflammation and itching of skin. It soothes and moisturizes with 1% hydrocortisone, aloe vera and allantoin. It also provides temporary relief of itching and discomfort associated with minor skin irritations, rashes, seborrheic dermatitis, eczema, adverse reactions to soaps etc. For lasting treatment of the cause of any of these conditions, consult with a physician.
And for the best sun block, use DNA Control Sun Block, an SPF 40 that doesn't affect the eyes and actually works.
